Hi all,

A lot has happened since my last post. Many things have changed not only in my life, but in the life of most Americans. The President has made many changes to this so called "Christian" nation but God is still on the throne and no matter what happens in this earth, He is and always will be in control. But while on this earth, we tend to forget who is the Author of everything and we look to people to solve our problems. I have been reading the Uncle Eric series and in "Whatever Happened to Justice" he explains a rather interesting side of how our government started. Long ago gangs would raid peoples houses and steal money and food to survive. But then they decided that instead of living outside the towns that they raided, why not build a fortress inside it? They called the fortress a capitol and the organization the government. Our government is full of gangsters in velvet. So why did the Founding Fathers make one if all it did was tax and rule the people with an iron fist? Because the people were so used to having a government that they felt if they did not make one, someone else would. So they set up our government in a way that would check and balance each other as much as possible. The reason the government is so slow in what it does is because it was designed that way. The Founding Fathers hoped that eventually, the government would be destroyed because of its lack of productivity. Our government today is doing what government should do, it is a ravaging monster that can only grow from here. I am still proud to be an American, but I am ashamed at what our government has done to this country. During times like these, and anytime for that matter, there is only one thing that can set everything aright and that is God and God alone. I still believe that revival is possible if we would just take our "religion" out of the four walls of our churches and into our world. I love the saying, "Preach always, if necessary use words". That means that we can let God soften someones heart just by what we do. We need to be the leaders of tomorrow, we need to be the best at whatever we do and we need to be the most loving and forgiving people on this earth. I believe that if someone sees that you are truly living what the Bible says and not just preaching or reading it, they will say in their hearts, "Who is this God and how can we know him?" If we can do that and bring people into our government that are Christians, I truly believe that America can be what God intended it to be; an example to the rest of the world.
